Fish2Fork researchers taking part in EAI INTSYS 2023 Conference in Molde, Norway

Last week, on September 6-7 2023, Fish2Fork team participated in EAI INTSYS 2023 Conference that took place in Molde, Norway. This conference is focused on the relevance of Intelligent Transport Systems, promoting the value of research in this area to make transport safer, more efficient, and more sustainable by applying information and communication technologies to all transportation modes.

PhD researchers of Fish2Fork project - Ulpan Tokkozhina and Luis Elvas, together with Supervisor team Prof. Ana Lucia Martins and Prof. Joao Carlos Ferreira presented a total of 5 papers in EAI INTSYS 2023 Conference. Researcher Ulpan Tokkozhina (co-authored with Prof. Ana Lucia Martins and Prof. Joao Carlos Ferreira) once again highlighted their focus on disruptive technological solutions for fish supply chains, which resulted in a paper "Blockchain-powered fish industry: trust perceptions of final consumers on traceable information availability". 

One more paper that was presented in the conference by Ulpan Tokkozhina, Ana Lucia Martins and Joao Carlos Ferreira was focused more on the use of disruptive blockchain technology for social needs - "Blockchain-based solution for charitable supply chains: network proposal architecture for Portuguese tax consignment program".

PhD researcher Luis Elvas presented three papers (co-authored with Prof. Ana Lucia Martins and Prof. Joao Carlos Ferreira) at the conference - interest of this PhD researcher is focused on the solutions for smart cities, that would allow using data and predictive analytics to track the behavior of tourists and visitors, as well as monitoring night life and mobility of cities.
